Maths Problem

Problem * use all of the 100 cubes. * Work with a partner * There must be only 9 cubes on the base. * The base needs to be rectangular in shape. * The construction needs to be 15cm high & 15cm wide. * Can you include some parts that move?

It was hard because the last time it was an 8 cube base and now it is 9 on the base. 8 is an even number but 9 is an odd one (Yuma & Kenneth)
It was hard when we had to make the base because we couldn't make the rectangular shape in the base.(Brooke)
It was hard when we had to make the base, because we couldn't make the rectangle in the base without using more than the 9 cubes. It was hard to keep track of how many cubes we were using ( Rebecca)

It was hard because we needed to have the 9 cube base, so that it was complicated. ( Alex)
The hardest thing was the 9 cube base because we didn't find a good position ( Francesco)
What was surprising to us was when we needed to make the thing move. It was hard to use 100 cubes because when we tried to fit something on it broke! ( Maxime & Estefania)

It was hard to do because all our cubes were not connected & the easy part was making it the right lengthe & width. ( Matthew & Hermann)
